Rental Terms, Qualifications and Requirements

You will be required to present a valid passport (in Roman script) as proof of identity and the passport must be carried along when driving the rented vehicle.

A Visit Visa is required by a person visiting the country as a tourist or on a business trip for a short duration for 30 days. All people visiting UAE require a UAE Visit Visa. It has to be applied for in advance. Usually hotels or travel agents could also help with this process. Although for visitors from some countries like UK, Australia, US and other European countries the Visit Visa could be purchased on arrival at the border or at the airport. Please check with your respective embassy.
